Kingsley’s Tour of the 2022 Electric MINI Cooper SE Hardtop

What is it like to ride in the new 2022 electric MINI Cooper SE Hardtop? Our recent collaboration with local dog influencer, @sir_kingsley provided some insight. Through a series of social posts in partnership with Kingsley, his dads, and our friends at New Life Animal Rescue, viewers were given a unique tour of the latest all-electric MINI.

The Competition

When MINI USA challenged its dealerships to a bit of social media competition around the new 2022 MINI Cooper SE, we at MINI of Mount Laurel couldn’t say no! Our response? Finding the best spokes-dog to showcase the release. Kingsley, a fun and loving Merle Pomsky, was a perfect fit for the role. Presenting a tour of the MINI from a pet’s perspective allowed us to tap into the hearts of animal-lovers who know all too well that choosing a new vehicle is bound to be a family affair.

A Look at the Details

As production began alongside our partners at 1440 Film Co., cameras followed Kingsley from dealership to dog park. The journey supplied an exclusive look at the updates to the new, electrifying MINI Cooper SE, the first electric vehicle for the MINI brand. Its classically sleek design includes more standard premium exterior features. From new wheels to redesigned front and back grilles, plus standard LED headlights, and their famous Union Jack taillights – this stylish model provides a more aerodynamic drive. Furthermore, the dashboard and steering wheel also have a new look, not to mention a larger 8.8” touchscreen with an updated user interface and high-gloss black detail.

Efficiency was also on the pup’s radar. Video and voiceover both highlighted the ease of reenergizing this eco-friendly vehicle. All that’s required is an electric boost that’s both smooth and quiet. After charging, the MINI is ready for action – in Kingsley’s case, ready to hit the road for a puppy playdate! Last but not least, the electric MINI Cooper’s storage capabilities were also displayed through Kingsley’s eyes. Three additional dogs fit comfortably alongside him as they relaxed in the open trunk while hanging together at the park. The backseat is also collapsible, allowing even more room for treats, toys, and other goodies.

With style, efficiency, and comfort on the table, it’s easy to see why the 2022 MINI Cooper SE receives Sir Kingsley’s pawprint of approval! Click here to learn more about the latest model and be sure to visit @minimtlaurel on Instagram to experience the campaign.
